The New Year for many of us represents a fresh start and the opportunity for change and new possibilities – a vibrant and improved version of you! A lot of these changes can be small and subtle, but in the long-term can offer an amazing impact on our physical and emotional health and wellbeing. I’m all for self care and implementing simple and inexpensive self care tools as often as possible into my existence and believe they do make a difference.
One of these is incorporating a daily dose of Apple Cider Vinegar into your daily routine. If you would like to try it for yourself, the recipe is below. This tonic is best taken first thing in the morning on an empty stomach (30mins before eating)
Jodie’s Morning Detox Tonic
In a glass of warm (not hot) water add the following:
Juice of half a fresh lemon (medium in size)
Half to full a teaspoon of raw organic honey
1-2 tablespoons of Organic Apple Cider Vinegar (unfiltered with the Mother)
*To further enhance Fat Burning and sugar balancing also add:
Half to a full teaspoon of Organic True Cinnamon Powder
*For additional anti-inflammatory properties also add:
Half to a full teaspoon of Organic Turmeric Powder
